The Mi A1 generally doesn't have software problems. It has stock android so no FM Radio. And no File Manager? What about Files Go? In their defense, the 5T and 3T was meant to be a "quick buck" device to keep consumers buying even when the 5 stock runs out.
So it does make sense they don't want to make it too hard for themselves right now, even though it could benefit themselves too in the long term. If One Plus deliver as many updates for the 5T as they have for my One Plus 3, it doesn't matter if they have treble or not.
